Steiners vs Harlem Heat

Booker T. of Harlem Heat started off strong, but ran into a Scott Steiner gorilla press slam. “The Dog Face Gremlin” Rick Steiner tagged in, taking a few shots from both opponents before power slamming the big man of Harlem Heat, Stevie Ray. Thanks to his brother, Ray stopped Rick’s onslaught before power slamming him. The fans were behind The Steiners, especially after Booker raked Rick’s eyes.

Avoiding an elbow drop gave Rick the chance to tag out. Steiner-line after Steiner-line from both Rick and Scott left Harlem Heat reeling and the referee struggling to restore order. Out of nowhere came the New World Order of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Scott Norton, Randy Savage, Buff Bagwell, and Vincent. The referee immediately called for the bell. Lex Luger and The Giant hit the ring to save their fellow WCW comrades.

Winner: No Contest (3:25)

Is It A Classic: And just when things were getting good, the NWO arrived. Unless you like potentially good main events ending thanks to NWO interference (which was the norm at the time) then this is your type of match. If not, move along before you become disappointed.
