The Undertaker vs. Damien Demento

Undertaker vs Demento

Big right hand from Demento kicked this match off, backing The Undertaker into the ropes. Sadly for Damien, the momentum quickly turned in favor of ‘Taker after an unconventional hair mare. The Undertaker went Old School before it was Old School on Demento, leaving Damien reeling. Using ‘Taker’s attacks against him allowed Demento to actually shoulder tackle the big man off his feet. Damien made a huge mistake of whipping The Undertaker into the ropes, giving the “Dead Man” a chance to propel off the ropes and clothesline Demento into the Tombstone. As Gorilla Monsoon would say, the pin fall was elementary.

Winner: The Undertaker (2:25)

Is It A Classic: It’s a classic main event only because of when it happened. If not for the importance of “Raw’s” first episode, all who’d seen this battle would gladly forget this match.
