Growing Inner Wealth

“Wealth, like happiness, is never attained when sought after directly. It comes as a by-product of providing a useful service.” – Henry Ford

In this current societal climate of “materialism over everything”, the path to success hinges on what you have over others that don’t. With this philosophy, your goal in life is to be rich and wealthy in material goods. But in truth, this isn’t necessarily the pathway to personal wealth. The journey for worldly riches can leave you emotionally, spiritually, and/or physically depraved. While that’s not to say we shouldn’t want the best in life, we must also understand that “cash rules everything around us” isn’t going to satisfy our lust for more. The only true wealth is the riches that lie within us. Like any good stockbroker or entrepreneur, we must make our inner wealth work for us.

So, how do you truly find success in inner wealth? The objective might sound lofty, but the route to completing you goal is actually quite easy: Give of yourself. Give your mind, body, and soul to others. Use what you have – be it financially, intellectually, spiritually, physically – to help those and the world around you. Through this action, you will add gold to your inner-bank and truly become a success.
