Before his abrupt retiring from the wrestling business, Edge lived by the opening statement used during his entrance music throughout his career, “You think you know me?”
The once brooding mystery man who entered the ring through the crowd, spoke mostly in primal screams, and captivated audiences everywhere slowly but surely changed as the years progressed into someone unlike the image he’d created during his introductory days. The constant evolution of Edge from silent menace to Canadian goofball alongside his “brother” Christian to the “Rated R Superstar”, Edge became the definition of personal evolution while showcasing the one constant in life – change.
When you believe you know someone, don’t be surprised when they pull a complete 180-personality/character shift. Why? Because you think you know he or she, but you truly don’t.
