Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash vs. Sting, The Giant & Randy Savage
And dey was a clubberin’ at da bell, Tony! With Hulk Hogan fighting on the floor with Randy Savage, Sting was able to take Scott Hall down. When Hogan tried to save Hall he took the brunt of Sting’s punching onslaught. Using an eye poke was the only thing that helped Hogan make a comeback. The fans were going wild as Sting blocked a turnbuckle smash and tagged in the neck brace-wearing Giant. Hogan fell into Kevin Nash with the referee declaring it was a tag. The Giant motioned for the Choke Slam, only to be attacked from behind by Hogan & Hall. Nash gave The Giant the Pearl Harbor job, aiming for the injured neck of the man he dropped on his head with that Jackknife Power Bomb. The Giant was on the wrong part of town, getting worked over. Savage & Sting were incensed; trying their best to get in & save The Giant as the referee did his best to stop more illegal activity. Taking a three-on-one assault, The Giant had enough and knocked everyone away until he was knocked into a tag for Savage. “Macho Man” was ready to throw hands with Hogan as Nash ran up the aisle with The Giant on his heels. Stinger Splash connected for Sting on Hall as Savage knocked out New World Order member Eric Bischoff. With the referee trying to restore order he never saw The Disciple (Brutus Beefcake) entering the ring and connecting with the Stone Cold Stunner on Savage to give Hogan an easy pin fall victory.
Winner: New World Order (7:01)
Is It A Classic: As noted by the commentators, this was just a taste of what was to come on pay-per-view that weekend. It wasn’t a classic match in the least, but incredibly fun that, if given more time could’ve been the main event of any PPV.
