The ROHbot Report: Bound By Honor And Gateway To Honor Previews, And More

Welcome to another edition of The ROHbot Report – the only article you need for all the Ring of Honor news you have to know. ROH is heading to Nashville & St. Louis for a pair of events that will shape its upcoming “18th Anniversary” event and beyond. Lets find out what’s planned for ROH’s return to two of America’s most celebrated cities.

Bound By Honor Preview; February 28th, 2020; Nashville, TN

The ROH World Championship: PCO defends against Dragon Lee

PCO has been nothing short of a fighting champion be it as a tag team, trio or, most recently, by himself as the ROH World titleholder. PCO’s first title defense ended in controversy unfortunately thanks to interference from Kenny King and Dragon Lee as they attempted to help fellow member of La Faccion Ingobernable RUSH. The end result was PCO being driven through a table courtesy of a double team power bomb accented by Lee’s double stomp off the top rope. The ROH World Television champion now enters the ring with PCO for one-on-one competition for the first time in history. Like Jeff Cobb, Shane Taylor and many others before him, PCO enters this bout with the size advantage over the masked man. But what Lee lacks in size he makes up in speed & strikes that can knock someone out in a flash like his Incinerator Knee strike that ended Taylor’s reign, gave Cobb his third pin fall loss in his ROH tenure, and helped Dragon retain the TV title in Atlanta. But if there’s one thing PCO has displayed in every ROH encounter thus far it’s the fact he can take as much offense as his opponents can dish out and retaliate in kind. This clash of styles could produce a sleeper hit that sees Lee take a rare ROH loss.

ROH World Tag Team Championship: Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham defend against 2 Guys 1 Tag (Silas Young and Josh Woods)

Since taking a seat under the learning tree of Silas Young to form 2 Guys 1 Tag, Josh Woods has found the most success of his career since winning the 2017 Top Prospect Tournament. Woods & Young have gone undefeated with their biggest win coming at “Final Battle Fallout” when they overcame The Briscoes in a top contender match to earn a future shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championship. But the win didn’t come through talent alone as 2G1T got a little unwanted help from the new ROH World Tag Team champions Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham. It was obvious after the match the champs believed their upcoming title challengers would prove to be a layup though the last time these two teams shared a ring it was 2G1T that walked away victorious.

When it comes to singles competition Gresham is undefeated against “The Goods”, last besting Woods in Atlanta at the start of 2020 thanks to some interference by Lethal. The other halves of each team have a grand history as Jay Lethal and Silas Young went to war throughout a majority of 2017 that saw “The Last Real Man” victorious in the end. Though the champs may think they are the better team – an argument that can be made against them considering one of 2G1T’s early wins came at Lethal & Gresham’s expense during a time where the future champions weren’t on the best of terms – this could provide Young & Woods the perfect chance to cap off their undefeated streak in championship glory. While the obvious outcome results in no title change, expect this one to be a fun encounter better than their previous outing.

La Faccion Ingobernable (RUSH & Kenny King) vs. Villain Enterprise (Flip Gordon & Brody King)

Since forming following 2018’s “Final Battle”, Marty Scurll’s Villain Enterprises have dominated ROH’s Six-Man division after winning the title. VE overcame The Kingdom on night two of ROH’s “17th Anniversary” celebration, with their reign as champions lasting ever since with impressive defenses against the likes of LifeBlood in various forms including alongside PJ Black, a star-studded trio featuring Jeff Cobb, Yuji Nagata & Satoshi Kojima, and even teams that include their opponents in this upcoming encounter. Then came “Final Battle ’19” where PCO defeated RUSH to become the new ROH World champion.

The loss put into gear something RUSH felt needed to happen: The rising of a new force in ROH. Alongside his blood brother Dragon Lee and his brother-in-arms Kenny King, RUSH organized La Faccion Ingobernable with the intent of destroying everything VE has achieved over the past year-plus; starting off strong in their mission during “Honor Reigns Supreme” where Marty Scurll took the pin fall loss for his team in six-man action against RUSH, Lee & King. Now the former ROH World champion alongside the previous holder of two Television Championships will attempt to keep the momentum in LFI’s favor by overcoming a team rooted in ruthlessness. Considering the damage LFI attempted to do to King’s ankle in Atlanta by Pillmanizing him there’s a great chance Brody will come into this one less than 100% and could shockingly be the weak link in a match that should fantastic.

The Briscoes vs. Jeff Cobb & Dan Maff

The former eleven-time, history-making ROH World Tag Team champions The Briscoes are back on the figurative horse in an attempt to get their next crack at beating their own record again by regaining said title. Dan Maff & Jeff Cobb – one being a former ROH World Tag Team champion and the other a World Television titleholder – have found themselves bonded over the fact they love colliding with each other when the bell sounds. These two tandems collided in Triple Threat action during ROH’s return to Atlanta with Jay getting the fall for his team that didn’t involve either member of Maff & Cobb. It’s hard to believe this won’t be a slugfest from bell-to-bell with either team being next in line to challenge whomever holds the gold after this weekend of action. The actions of champions Lethal & Gresham as of late to avoid a rematch with Dem Boys may be the determining factor in whether or not Cobb & Maff are standing across the ring from their recent one-off partners or The Briscoes get another crack at the gold they’ve held for over a cumulative 1000 days.

Dalton Castle & Joe Hendry vs. PJ Black & Brian Johnson vs. LifeBlood (Mark Haskins & Tracy Williams) vs. Vincent & Bateman

Four teams will be jockeying for a chance to challenge for the richest prize in ROH’s tag team divisions during a first-time Four Corner Survival bout. The recent teams of Vincent Marseglia & Bateman and Joe Hendry & Dalton Castle have yet to gain a significant groove like their opponents that has resulted in either golden glory or a taste of what it means to challenge for ROH’s second oldest title. LifeBlood’s Mark Haskins & Tracy Williams almost saw gold come to their faction thanks to their success over the summer last year, but came up short when the lights were on bright. Ironically enough it was the other member of LifeBlood – Bandido – that failed to win alongside his stablemates, yet has found success alongside Rey Horus and Flamita with them becoming the Six-Man Tag Team champions at the start of 2020.

Originally scheduled for this match, Bandido & Flamita had to opt out due to Flamita tearing his meniscus; giving the new tandem of mentor & protege featuring PJ Black & Brian Johnson a chance of a lifetime. The ever-disgruntled Johnson has wanted nothing more than an opportunity to show why he’s the “Mecca” of wrestling. Unfortunately almost every chance for Johnson to prove himself has ended in either failure or embarrassment (or both) as seen during “Free Enterprise” when his impressive display during the battle royal that included eliminating Black ended with an unceremonious elimination of his own. This could be a night of redemption for the likes of Hendry & Castle or the unusual team of Marseglia & Bateman proving they have what it takes to subdue their primal nature to actually win. Haskins & Williams, who’ve had their issues with Bateman & Vincent as of late, are in need of a big win and could kill two birds with one stone by defeating Marseglia & Bateman to do so. Originally the favorites to win were Bandido & Flamita, but now it seems like it’s anyone’s match to win. This will definitely be one of, if not the wildest match of the evening with an end result that could see a team like Hendry & Castle stealing the victory when no one expects.

Slex vs. Marty Scurll vs. Bandido

Former ROH World Television & Six-Man Tag Team champion Marty Scurll has been all over the wrestling news world as of late for his actions outside of the ring, but now the leader of Villain Enterprises is looking to make big business for himself & VE across multiple promotions including ROH and the NWA. But when it comes to getting it done no one handles his business better than Slex. While Slex is a fresh face in ROH, the Australian has been wrestling for over a decade & a half; making waves throughout his native continent and beyond including having must-see matches with SoCal Uncensored, Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, Austin Aries, and Marty Scurll himself.

Like his opponents, Bandido was one of the most exciting unsigned talents in all of pro wrestling before he became a member of LifeBlood and considered a potential top contender for the ROH World Championship. Originally meant to be a singles match between Scurll and Slex, Bandido was added to the bout following an injury to Flamita. An interesting statistic is the fact Scurll enters this one with an undefeated record against Slex. Slex also comes into this one with a 0-1 overall record in ROH; something that he is definitely looking to change. Bandido is one of the men responsible for Scurll’s recent trek back up the mountain having dethroned him as one-third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team champions – this victory came after months of battles between LifeBlood and Villain Enterprises that even saw Bandido pin “The Villain”. Slex versus Scurll looked amazing on paper; this bout looks like a classic in the making with Slex potentially getting his first win in ROH over a pair of men considered two of the best ROH has to offer.

Angelina Love vs. Nicole Savoy

ROH’s final event of 2019 was supposed to be a great one for Nicole Savoy as the former SHIMMER champion made her Women of Honor debut against the first titleholder in the division, Sumie Sakai. Instead of being able to celebrate a great victory over the first Women of Honor champion, Savoy was attacked by The Allure alongside the veteran. Savoy’s attempt at revenge fell short in Atlanta at the start of 2020, resulting in Angelina pinning a former fellow champion. For those who don’t know, Savoy became the twelfth woman to hold SHIMMER’s top prize, becoming the longest-reigning titleholder in SHIMMER history. Love’s list of accolades spread across a decade including seven World title victories including the Women of Honor Championship. Though there hasn’t been much said about the title’s status, one has to believe the winner will be pegged to compete for the gold if it’s ever reinstated. This could provide not only the best Angelina Love match in ROH thus far, but also Savoy’s first win in the company.

Alex Shelley vs. Rey Horus

Alex Shelley has been nothing short of a busy man over the last few months. After coming up short in attaining World champion status, Shelley found himself company trotting around, landing in various promotions beyond ROH including WWE’s NXT. Shelley’s talents have influenced an entire generation including the likes of Rey Horus. Horus quickly gained champion status in ROH by winning the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team title alongside Bandido & Flamita. But when it comes to Horus’ singles success in ROH thus far it’s pretty sparse regarding wins. Shelley has proven he can pull a win out of figurative air like he did against Jonathan Gresham. If Horus isn’t careful another new Six-Man champ could be a part of a surprising result & loss following an exceptional match.

Gateway to Honor Preview; February 29th, 2020; St. Louis, MO

ROH World Championship (Triple Threat Match): PCO defends against RUSH and Mark Haskins

Coming into “Masters of the Craft” last year, The Kingdom of Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia & TK O’Ryan had the chance to continue their winning ways while making Villain Enterprises finally bow to them. Instead, PCO pinned the World champion in a wild Six-Man Tag Team Championship defense that set the stage for him, at fifty-one years old, to earn a ROH World Championship opportunity. PCO came up short on that night through controversial means; putting him on the journey back to another ROH World title shot. One night later it was Mark Haskins who got his second crack at the ROH World Championship after failing to defeat Jay Lethal the year prior; too failing to win like PCO due to interference. With Haskins shuffled out of the World title picture last spring, PCO found somewhat unexpected success by defeating Kenny King in the opening round of a tournament to become the top contender to the ROH World Championship at “Final Battle”, PCO continued winning until he was standing across the ring from Marty Scurll at “Glory By Honor”.

The battle was that of one made for Scurll to win thanks to interference from King and Flip Gordon, but it was PCO’s night to reign as the premier villain in ROH. PCO continued that momentum by winning all the way up to “Final Battle” where he finally faced of with the undefeated “Bull” in a match that became one of the wildest in ROH history featuring broken doors, sick chair shots, and PCO actually being electrocuted so he could continue. All the pain, setbacks & suffering were worth it as PCO overcame when few thought he would and became the new ROH World champion. But before PCO was crowned the new World champion, Haskins also went to war with Bully Ray; surviving & winning a brutal Street Fight featuring barbed wire, tables & even a cheese grater. This could produce one of the most chaotic World title matches in ROH has ever had in Triple Threat form with the chance of a new champion being crowned not necessarily being that unlikely with RUSH standing tall yet again and whomever isn’t the recipient of the deciding fall taking on the champion at “18th Anniversary”.

ROH World Tag Team Championship: Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham defend against Bandido & Rey Horus

When LifeBlood formed last January, Jay Lethal was targeted by the faction not as an enemy, but as an example of who used to be type of people used to epitomize ROH. Lethal found men like Jonathan Gresham and Jeff Cobb also having a similar mentality as his own, teaming with them frequently throughout 2019 until something snapped in “The Franchise”. Lethal soon saw that winning by any means if necessary is the only way to succeed in today’s ROH; figuring out that “The Octopus” Gresham – who too saw the “light” in regards to ROH glory – was right; resulting in them winning the ROH World Tag Team Championship at “Final Battle ’19”. A month later, Lethal & Gresham were on the same side of the ring with Cobb yet again and won yet again; though the tension between the champions and their ally for the evening resulted in Lethal and Cobb actually fighting. On the opposite end of the spectrum are the World Six-Man champions – a trio who had never teamed before in ROH prior to “Saturday Night at Center Stage” being able to do the seemingly impossible by winning gold in impromptu fashion. This will mark the champions’ first defense and most likely won’t be their last considering the challengers have all the makings of imploding before the final bell rings. If, somehow, Cobb gets along with the ROH Tag Team champions long enough there may be another big upset in the Six-Man division, but that is the most unlikely thing to happen throughout the night.

ROH World Television Championship: Dragon Lee defends against Dak Draper

The 2019 Top Prospect Tournament winner is finally cashing in his ROH World Television Championship opportunity gifted to those who can win the single-elimination tournament. Dak Draper is a physical specimen if there ever was one with great size, strength & athleticism while sporting a certain level of charisma usually associated with a future star. Dragon Lee is too an amazing athlete who utilizes his blistering speed to make up for his lack of height & strength against larger or even similarly sized opponents. Lee has proven that he can overcome adversaries larger then himself including former ROH World TV champs Jeff Cobb and Shane Taylor with the latter resulting in the masked man becoming the new ROH World Television champion. Statistically, Draper has the numbers against him considering the fact only one TPT winner has won the TV title in his post-tournament shot, Matt Taven. Though Draper most likely won’t change that ratio of TPT winners to ROH TV title holders, this match could provide a breakout moment for him that establishes Dak as someone fans will be eager to see more of going forward.

2 Guys 1 Tag (Silas Young and Josh Woods) vs. The Righteous (Vincent & Bateman)

The current top contenders to the ROH World Tag Team Championship 2 Guys 1 Tag will potentially enter this one as the new ROH World Tag Team champions depending on what happens the night before in Nashville. No matter if Silas Young & Josh Woods are champions are not, they’ll enter this match with a fantastic record including a victory over The Briscoes that solidified their position as the first in line to challenge Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham for the ROH World Tag Team title. Vincent & Bateman are a fresh tandem in ROH that has proven quickly they can go toe-to-toe with the toughest men ROH has to offer including Matt Taven and Mark Haskins. Though there’s a very slight chance new champions will enter this one, it seems incredibly unlikely anyone but The Briscoes will win in a solid contest.

Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll, Brody King & Flip Gordon) vs. Slex & The Briscoes

There are few people more different than The Briscoes and Slex. While Jay & Mark are the personification of all things stereotypically “redneck”, Slex is an international star focusing on making the most money possible. On the opposite end of the spectrum will be their opponents. Villain Enterprises of Marty Scurll, Brody King and the ROH World champion PCO reigned supreme in ROH’s Six-Man division throughout 2019 with King & PCO actually overcoming Dem Boys to win their first and thus far only ROH World Tag Team Championship. Flip Gordon has proven to be a valuable asset to VE including when not intended to be – spoiling Slex’s ROH debut at “Free Enterprise”. The Briscoes aren’t foreign to trios action, winning the title in 2017 alongside Bully Ray. Opposites attract both in life and in the ring as seen in the past that may pay off in grand fashion for Jay & Mark with a new ally; though the most likely outcome will be VE getting a much-needed win as a trio since they lost the World Six-Man title to Rey Horus, Bandido & Flamita in Atlanta.

Alex Shelley vs. Dan Maff

For the first time in history, Dan Maff will find himself standing across the ring from Alex Shelley in a singles encounter. When Shelley formally debuted in ROH as a part of Generation Next, Maff’s tenure with the company was starting to wear down and would result in him leaving for almost a decade and a half. Maff returned at ROH’s “The Experience” and has been mostly showcasing his tag team abilities alongside Jeff Cobb – the same abilities that won him two ROH World Tag Team Championships. This will be a true David vs. Goliath style encounter where Shelley will have to figuratively chop Maff down if he wants to potentially roll him up or submit the massive fellow veteran. Considering the talent involved it’s hard not to believe they won’t deliver a fine first-time encounter that may surprise some due to its quality.

Angelina Love vs. Session Moth Martina

The beer-drinking, chain-smoking, incredibly eccentric partier who just so happens to be a very entertaining in-ring competitor Session Moth Martina will have her hands full when taking on the former seven-time World Women’s champion. Angelina Love, though incredibly proficient in the ring, has relied on help & cheap tactics as of late to find success. Unfortunately for Love, Martina isn’t opposed to bending the rules in an effort to win. From having her own backup to literally blinding people with a pint of spit beer, Martina can be just as ruthless as Love & The Allure. Expect Martina to win this one even if it’s through controversial means as she takes another step closer to potentially challenging for the re-instated ROH Women of Honor Championship.

Dalton Castle & Joe Hendry are looking to break away from the pack in the tag team division, and they’ll have an opportunity to do so when they take on The Briscoes at “18th Anniversary” in Las Vegas on March 13.

The Briscoes will go down as the best tandem in ROH history having broken their own record as multiple time ROH World Tag Team champions all the while producing a plethora of fantastic matches across all the ROH eras. Dalton Castle & Joe Hendry don’t have the credentials of their opponents, but the bond that formed between them in an effort to become the most entertaining team in wrestling today has been something of a mixed bag of success. Doing well during ROH’s UK tour prior to “Final Battle”, Castle & Hendry fell to 2G1T at the big event in Baltimore. As the same event known as “Final Battle”, The Briscoe also lost with them failing to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship. The last time these two tandems shared a ring it was in a Triple Threat environment that, shockingly, resulted in The Briscoes coming up short. This will prove Castle & Hendry’s biggest test, even more so than the aforementioned three-way dance because a win here would catapult the duo to top contender status having defeated the team synonymous with the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Don’t expected the unexpected outside of the fact the match itself will be better than anyone believed it could be.

Shane Taylor, Dan Maff, Kenny King and Bateman will each have a chance to hit the jackpot in Las Vegas at “18th Anniversary”. They’ll face off in a Dealer’s Choice match, with the winner of the four-way bout earning a future title shot of his choosing.

Interestingly enough, Las Vegas has been a great place for two of the four competitors here as Bateman successfully made his ROH debut during last year’s “Death Before Dishonor” while two years prior at the very same event it was Kenny King beginning one of two ROH World Television title reigns by defeating KUSHIDA in a must-see bout. A highlight of Shane Taylor’s ROH career pre-TV Championship reign also happened in Las Vegas where he and Jeff Cobb tore the house down. While Dan Maff doesn’t have the same experiences as his opponents in regards to ROH coming to Vegas, the former multi-time Tag Team champion knows how to thrive in matches featuring more than a single opponent as seen during one of ROH’s earliest underrated gems featuring himself, then-future ROH World champion Homicide, Colt Cabana and BJ Whitmer.

The winner’s purse is an interesting one as ROH has resurrected the Pure title and it could be something a person like Kenny King – who is three titles away from being a Grand Slam titleholder (World, Six-Man & Pure) – would jump at a chance to challenge for if he doesn’t win the Pure Championship tournament; it could also secure La Faccion Ingobernable a Six-Man or Tag Team title opportunity. Shane Taylor would love to prove that he is truly the best thing in ROH right now by earning a World title shot. Dan Maff, who already has a future Tag Team Championship shot in his back pocket thanks to his Proving Ground win alongside Jeff Cobb, would love to challenge for the ROH World title again after falling short against Samoa Joe almost two decades ago. Bateman’s focus would most likely be a Tag Team title shot for himself & Vincent as The Righteous are picking up wins and could be an imposing force in the division. This should be one of, if not the wildest match of the entire weekend with it being hard to count out any potential victor.

Session Moth Martina faces Nicole Savoy at “18th Anniversary”.

“The Queen of Suplexes” has found herself somewhat stunted early in ROH. After a successful in-ring debut, Nicole Savoy was thrust into the problems between Sumie Sakai and The Allure that result in Savoy taking her first loss and her first betrayal as Sakai attacked her partner after the match. Not long after Sakai ran afoul of Savoy, Session Moth Martina made her ROH debut by, ironically enough, overcoming the first Women of Honor champion in Sakai. While Savoy is trying to restart a winning streak in ROH, Martina & her partying personality is looking to do the same at Nicole’s expense. With ROH announcing a rechristened Women’s Championship coming in the very near future, a win for either woman should make them an early favorite to become the first ROH World Women’s champion following this first-time encounter that will be memorable for all the right reasons.

Former Pure champion John Walters returns to ROH for the first time in more than 13 years to take on Mark Haskins at “ROH Past vs. Present” in Las Vegas on March 14.

In 2003 there was an influx of talent that seemed poised to never reach the grand heights of WWE stardom; becoming the small-scale warriors only die-hard fans would remember & celebrate years after their departures from wrestling – one of those talents was John Walters. Walters wasn’t flashy or spectacular, but had a skill set perfect for ROH during its budding years; resulting in him becoming the third Pure champion by defeating fellow returning grappler Doug Williams. Walters, who was the original “Crown Jewel” of Prince Nana’s Embassy faction, left ROH to actually showcase a level of charisma he didn’t display during his entire time in ROH by embracing the rising xenophobia in American society after the turn of the 21st century. Looking to make history & a legacy all his own is Mark Haskins. The first & only ROH International Cup winner has proven his abilities as those housed by someone poised to become a future World champion – something Walters never got a chance to truly fight for during Samoa Joe’s impressive World title reign. Haskins showcased his abilities to go hold for hold with the likes of Jay Lethal, Matt Taven and Dalton Castle before displaying a high level of tenacity & fortitude when overcoming Bully Ray at “Final Battle ’19”. But Haskins will need every technical trick in the book to defeat a grappling wizard like Walters just as he did against Alex Shelley; though on the outset it seems “Overkill” is the favorite to win what should be a match unlike any other on the card in the best way possible.

Nicole Savoy will be looking to settle a score with Sumie Sakai when they square off in Las Vegas on March 14.

While WWE has coined the phrases “Women’s Evolution” and “Women’s Revolution” when it comes to women’s wrestling, it was the SHIMMER promotion based out of Berwyn, IL that truly begot the change in how women’s wrestling is accepted by wrestling fans around the world. SHIMMER put a spotlight on women’s wrestling in its purest form without the characters, sports entertainment & insulting match stipulations by letting the wrestlers be wrestlers & the rivalries flourish in ways unseen in most women’s wrestling. Nicole Savoy found herself the product of years & years of hard work by the women who fought in SHIMMER before her; taking that opportunity to grow as a wrestling in an environment ready to breed some of the best wrestlers in the world with no gender limits. Savoy became the twelfth woman to hold the promotion’s top prize, becoming the longest-reigning titleholder in SHIMMER history. Between all of that Savoy has competed in the Mae Young Classic, on pay-per-view and in AEW.

Now the “Queen of Suplexes” comes for the first Women of Honor champion – a woman who laid the foundation for not only the Women of Honor, but also SHIMMER by bringing serious women’s wrestling to the indie world in the early 2000s. ROH’s final event of 2019 was supposed to be a great one for Savoy as the former SHIMMER champion made her Women of Honor debut against the first titleholder in the division, Sumie Sakai. Instead of being able to celebrate a great victory over the first Women of Honor champion, Savoy was attacked by The Allure alongside the veteran. Savoy & Sakai attempted to get revenge years later, only for them to come up short and Sumie attack her partner. Savoy came up short as Sumie’s partner and also as her adversary in their rematch when Sakai cheated her way to victory. Savoy will obviously will come into this one ready to do everything in her power to win even if it means embracing a part of her that was the norm years ago before her skill set allowed for Nicole to win on talent alone. With the ROH Women’s World title coming soon here’s hoping that Savoy gains a big win here to prepare the fans for the fact she could become the first titleholder when the tournament is all over.

Ring of Honor will soon be debuting a new weekly feature called Wildcard Wednesday, which will consist of multi-person tag matches between teams selected at random.

As stated alongside this announcement were two things: the obvious match stipulation being similar to what’s been seen on ROH TV in the past during the Christmas & holiday season; it airing exclusively on Youtube. ROH’s Youtube content has been rather lacking as of late with the weekly “Throwback” bout and, potentially, some promos building toward upcoming live events. There are several questions regarding these matches including whether or not these bouts will retain the same number of participants, will women be involved in the action or have their own variation, and, most importantly, what is the end game. Will these matches give birth to new teams, potentially add cracks in the armor of trust in regards to old partnerships, or add layers to on-going stories & rivalries? One can only assume a lot of these questions will be answered in the next few months while, hopefully, proving some must-see action.
