Only Your Opinion of Yourself Matters
Former WWE World Heavyweight and UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has been making headlines since his return to the UFC octagon at the MMA company’s biggest event of all time, “UFC 202”. After being busted for potentially illegal drug usage before his possible last UFC fight, WWE wrestlers have called him “lazy”. And you know what – Brock hasn’t shown any kind of care in the world of what anyone thinks because it doesn’t really affect him and, most importantly, the money he constantly makes barely working thirty days a year outside of training. Lesnar, through sheer talent, hard work, and God-given size similar to something out of a comic book, has become a commodity for the likes of Vince McMahon and Dana White will throw millions of dollars at him for just showing up and doing what he does best – beat people up.
And through Brock’s recent actions, he’s alienated fellow employees, done things that would usually get people suspended or fined, and even underwhelmed a vocal minority of fans. But Brock doesn’t care because Lesnar is still valuable. If you’re in that rare high position of financial stability such as Brock Lesnar, you can do almost anything you want and still make a lot of cash. You can curse on live TV. You can beat the life out of people. You can even assault your boss’ son for trying to help the man you injured and bloodied in your continued quest to show the world that you just don’t care about someone else’s well-being and how your superior physical traits overwhelm anyone who tries to stop you from making that big fight money. And seriously, who could stop you without someone kind of heavy firearm?
