Don’t Like it – Sue
Less than a month ago, Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling held its annual “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view event featuring a Triple Threat main event where TNA World Heavyweight champion Ethan Carter III (EC3) defended his title against Drew Galloway (the former “Drew McIntyre” in WWE) and home state favorite Matt Hardy. The match proved to be a show stealer and ended with Hardy winning and being crowned the new champion. As anyone would expect, the former champ was not pleased with the outcome; especially considering the fact Matt’s brother Jeff was the contest’s special guest referee. Though Jeff tried his best to be impartial, EC3 went out of his way to antagonize the other Hardy and ended up feeling the brunt of “The Charismatic Enigma’s” ire.
Confronting his aunt and TNA President Dixie Carter about the match’s outcome, Ethan threatened to sue the company for all its worth if justice wasn’t served in his favor. And wouldn’t you know it, EC3 lived up to his word by filing an injunction against TNA. Matt Hardy, realizing what it meant to be stuck in court defending himself and his title win for a long period of time an how it would devalue the title he held so dearly, opted to give into Ethan Carter’s wishes and vacated the championship. So take it from EC3 – if you don’t get your way and believe some sort of injustice has been done to you, threaten to sue the people you think are responsible for the wrongdoing aimed against you. Though you might not get what you want immediately, at least your property won’t be in the hands of someone you think is lesser than you.
