The champ was ready for the masked man’s Pearl Harbor job, sidestepping the intended attack before beating him down. Psychosis recovered, springing off the ropes with a spinning heel kick that put Guerrero on the floor in preparation for a baseball slide. Eddie hit the padded mats, not realizing Psychosis was scaling the ropes. Diving off the top, Psychosis executed a senton splash from the top rope to the floor! But Psychosis hurt himself just as much as he did Guerrero. With the champion moving to avoid a follow up splash in the ring, Guerrero slammed his challenger into a gut-buster. Psychosis flipped through the power bomb attempt, spinning heel kicking Guerrero not once, but twice. On the third try, Guerrero crotched him on the top rope to superplex Psychosis in position for the Frog Splash and the three count.

Winner: Eddie Guerrero (3:43)

Is It A Classic: In no way a classic, but it did feature one incredible spot while helping solidify Guerrero’s toughness and ability to defeat men like Rey Mysterio heading into the pay-per-view.
