ROH World Six-Man Tag Team champions The Soldiers of Savagery vs. Dalton Caslte & Dak Draper

The S.O.S. promised shooters will shoot tonight. A “cocktail of charisma”, Dalton was looking forward to bring the drama. Dak Draper was so hyped he almost took off his shirt with “The Peacock” asking his ally to save it for the match.

The former ROH World champion was doing some big running off at the mouth in hopes of catching Kaun and Moses off guard as The Briscoes joined the commentators with Mark Briscoe being intrigued by Castle’s baby chickens. Dalton showcased his grappling acumen, actually taking Kaun down until Dalton pushed him against the ropes. Kaun bounced off, knocking Castle down with the shoulder block. Castle slipped underneath an approaching Kaun to overhead suplex him prior to tagging out to Dak Draper. Kaun rolled through an arm drag, yanking Draper to The S.O.S.’ corner for a double team suplex. Double team maneuvers by the champions was separated by Kaun or Moses pitching an incoming Castle to the floor. Dalton ran a play via the apron, saving Draper from an attack in the corner while setting up “The Mile High Magnum’s” flying back elbow prior to the commercial break.

Draper missed a big knee drop on Kaun, but the big man recovered quickly enough to stop his opponent from tagging out. Holding Kaun in the gut-wrench, Draper actually passed Kaun to “The Peacock” for a big suplex. Castle was rallying the baby chicks as Kaun reversed a neck breaker into a failed backslide. Pulling Kaun up for another gut-wrench waist lock, Draper had the doctor bomb in mind. Kaun kicked his way to freedom, rolling to Moses for the tag.

Moses was laying in those big forearms prior to splashing Dak in the corner. Castle ran in, only to get back dropped over the top. Cross body block from Moses put Draper in position for a super Hart Attack … that gave the champs a two count!

The chickens went running when Moses screamed at them. Moses pitched Castle over the guardrail before reentering to help Kaun pull off that double team elevated DDT on Draper for the pin fall.

La Faccion Ingobernables’ Kenny King & Dragon Lee hit the ring, beating down The S.O.S. with the Tag Team title belts. After the damage was done, they took a selfie on Kaun’s fallen body. Moses got the microphone to challenge LFI for their ROH World Tag Team Championship. LFI gave no answer before leaving, but that match will happen next week.

ROH World Women’s Championship Contender Eliminator: Angelina Love vs. Willow vs. Miranda Alize

Willow was finally excited to be back on track after confusion about her future in ROH arose. Her mind is on making the ROH World Women’s title being the perfect Christmas present she could think about opening.

Miranda Alize couldn’t believe she had to go through two women when she is the uncrowned World champion after she was robbed by Rok-C. Alize’s sights are set on proving “Little Ms. Innocent” a liar of a champion.

Chelsea Green also joined the commentators to explain how she is trying to get into World title contention after her first ROH match didn’t go too well. Miranda Alize and the former two-time Women of Honor champion Angelina Love tried to double team Willow early, but go taken down with a pair of clotheslines. Willow quickly followed up by giving Alize only two amigos when Love got involved by drilling Willow face-first against the canvas. Backing Willow in the corner allowed Alize and Love to sling her against the turnbuckles over & over again. Alize and Love whipped the other into Willow for running or flying strikes that were topped off by a dropkick from “The Lucha Baddie” after Love’s snap mare before the commercial break.

Willow blocked a double team suplex, dropping her opponents with DDTs. Willow focused on Love, but had to out-strike both opponents until she could whip Angelina into Miranda for a double avalanche splash in the corner. Love avoided the missile dropkick while shoving Alize into the dropkick’s path. Love dumped Willow out of the ring, failing to pin Alize. Miranda got up furious with Love, trying to punch The Allure member off her feet. Instead, Alize ran into a big back elbow that turned into her being locked in the Koji clutch. Willow ran in, breaking up the submission before tossing both women out so she could double missile dropkick them on the floor.

Willow reentered the ring with Alize. Before Willow could really do something, Miranda bit her and threw Willow to ringside so “The Lucha Baddie” had the chance to follow up with a dive of her own against her opponents. Alize got up clutching her left knee while pushing Love into the ring. Love countered whatever Alize had in mind, using a cross body block on her opposition at ringside. Love used the Botox Injection bicycle kick to knock Alize off the apron as she was trying to reenter so Angelina could focus on Willow. Before Love could turn around, Willow cradled her for something of a surprising three count.

ROH World champion Bandido & Rey Horus vs. The OGK

The OGK were so enthused about getting closer to winning the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Though Bandido holds something both want, with wins over the likes of The Briscoes and MexaBlood will put them high in line for a title shot.

MexaBlood understood how tight their opponents are, but nothing is tighter than blood.

It was Mike Bennett and Rey Horus starting off for their respective teams. Both were looking to work over their opponent’s arm when Horus came flying off the ropes with an arm drag in hopes of turning it into a pinning combination. Bennett was going move for move with the masked man, resulting in a stalemate. Tagging out to their partners, Matt Taven and Bandido started a very lucha-infused exchange full of head scissors and hurricaranas until Taven landed a big dropkick heading into the commercial break.

“The Most Wanted” was on the wrong part of town, having to stop the Proton Pack. Unfortunately for Bandido, he ran into a super kick from Taven followed by Bennett’s spear. The left leg became The OGK’s focal point while keeping Bandido on their side of the ring. Another double team saw Taven land a dropkick that had him believing he earned a three count off his subsequent pin attempt. Enzuguri-blue thunder bomb combo from Taven somehow didn’t put Bandido away. Bennett’s spine buster didn’t help keep the World champ down as he avoided Taven’s follow-up attack while grabbing Bennett by the head. Tornado DDT on Bennett while kicking Taven’s head allowed Bandido to tag out.

Rey Horus was on fire, downing both opponents including hitting a standing Spanish fly on Bennett while Bandido tagged himself in. Bandido’s corkscrew cross body didn’t put Taven away before the commercial break.

Bandido was hobbling around in hopes of double teaming Taven. That double team saw Bandido propel Horus into a splash on Taven before Matt felt Bandido’s standing shooting star press. Bandido couldn’t follow up as Taven countered with Just the Tip. Spike piledriver connected for The OGK on Bandido that ended in a two count thanks to Horus breaking up the pin. Everyone got up throwing big bombs until all four competitors were down. Bandido dropped down to send Bennett out of the ring for a dive as Horus tagged himself in. Bennett found himself stuck in the octopus as Taven took out Bandido with a dive on the floor. Bennett avoided the 450 splash from Horus, quickly grabbing a stunned Rey as Taven reentered so they could execute the Proton Pack on Rey. Bennett made the cover, pinning Horus.

Overall: Two tag team bouts sandwiched this show and were completely different from one another in the best way possible. The S.O.S. have become a truly must-see tandem while delivering against this new duo of Castle & Draper that gelled really well including their hilarious passing opponents for gut-wrench suplexes to impress one another. Considering how the Tag Team title has changed hands so frequently this year, there’s a chance Moses & Kaun could end up with more gold by next week’s end. While they were a good team years ago, The OGK are on a different level right now as a unit. It would only be fitting six years after their unceremonious title reign ended at “Final Battle” due to Taven injuring his knee would they challenge for the gold at ROH’s biggest event; but that’s only if they can keep up their winning ways.

Though the main event was really good (arguably the Match of the Night), it’s still shocking Bandido has been losing so much even in tag team action. Makes one wonder if ROH is building toward something where Horus’ frustration transforms him similar to what it did to Demonic Flamita. Willow winning her bout was a definite surprise in the best way possible. It’ll be interesting to see who she’ll face next; potentially setting the stage for a David versus Goliath style encounter between Rok-C and Willow at “Final Battle”. The biggest issue ROH has right now is an engrossing storyline or the focus on someone’s building journey toward something grand. Considering how far away “Final Battle” is, that situation could easily change in the coming weeks. But for now, ROH TV is only running strong due to its quality roster providing enjoyable matches – this episode was no different.
