Team SENDAI Girls (Meiko Satomura, Sendai Sachiko & Dash Chisako) vs. Team Ring of Honor (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson & Mike Bennett)

Team Sendai vs Team ROH

Matt Jackson and Dash Chisako kicked this one off with Matt immediately shoving her down. Dash responded in kind by unleashing an onslaught of forearms to set up the sunset flip for an early near fall. Matt had no choice but to tag out to his brother Nick as Sendai Sachiko became the legal woman for her team. A lucha sequence of reversals broke out, ending with Nick being sent out via head scissors. Meiko Satomura and Mike Bennett take their turns to get involved, with Bennett actually getting the first real advantage for his team. Sadly for Bennett and Team ROH, Mike’s attitude got him kicked in the chest after he spit on Meiko. Eye drum-popping slap was Bennett’s retaliation. Meiko was fighting for everything she was worth after the strike, actually downing Bennett before isolating the entering Young Bucks with a triple team. Just when it seemed Sachiko was going to end this match for her team, Matt speared her.

It would take some help from her partners to stop the barrage of attacks from Team ROH. Countering a suplex, Sachiko was able to hold Team ROH’s Bennett in position long enough for everyone to enter. The SENDAI Girls exploded with a triple team suplex that saw all three members of Team ROH bounce off the canvas in great pain. Unfortunately for Sachiko, the referee restored order and she was still stuck on the wrong part of town. Team ROH’s abuse gave them the chance to play rock band while using Sendai’s body as a stage. Maria Kanellis – who was the lead singer for this showcase – had to scurry out of the ring when Sendai’s partners broke up the act. Bodies started flying thanks to the legal participants rolling out of the ring. Nick Jackson found himself in the ring with Meiko, feeling the Pele kick-Death Valley Driver combo … for a near fall!

Matt came in to super kick Satomura. Matt and Bennett left themselves wide open for stereo octopus stretches courtesy of Chisako and Sachiko. Maria immediately jumped onto the apron, blocking the referee’s view of a double tap out. Before the referee can turn around, Nick super kicked his partners to freedom, leaving Meiko by herself to fight off all three opponents. But Satomura had too much to handle and was triple super kicked! Hoisting Meiko onto her shoulders to execute More Bang For Your Buck alongside his brother to pin Meiko and advance into the finals.

Winner: Team ROH (10:06)

Is It A Classic: Non-stop action from bell to bell that was exceptionally fun and thoroughly entertaining. Shockingly enough, this was the opening match of the show and produced one of, if not the best first bout of any CHIKARA event. You can see this match for free via CHIKARA’s Youtube channel and it’s well worth your time.
